Round Burbage Walk

The current Neighbourhood Plan includes a 'Round Burbage Walk' of almost 8 miles, and the Neighbourhood Plan working group are keen to promote this walk to introduce as many people as possible to the rural edge of the village.

A web-based guided walk has been produced in the hope that it inspires villagers to explore outside of the urban area.

It is great that Burbage is seen as a tremendous place to come and live, but that has encouraged, and continues to encourage development of new homes in the village. This expansion does risk being detrimental to our well being in the village and the Parish Council has been tireless in pointing out the harm which over development can cause.

The guided walk has 4 starting points in Britannia Road, Sketchley Lane, The Outwoods & Sherbourne Road. Click the link below to start your walk.
