Hinckley Road slip road to be closed from May 12 for 4 weeks

Leicestershire County Council Highways has agreed to a road closure on Hinckley Road, Burbage (slip road) between the junctions of Burbage Road B4669 and Hinckley Road B578 on the 12th May 2025 for 4 weeks.

The Temporary Traffic Regulation Order will be implemented for public safety for GE Civils on behalf of Morro Homes and their appointed contractors to undertake associated development works.

The proposed diversion route will be via: Burbage Road, Hinckley Road, Burbage and vice versa.

At the end of the duration there will be 2 days of 2-way traffic signals on Sapcote Road to undertake carriageway resurfacing works. These works have been planned to take place over a weekend to minimise disruption.
